Reflections
Artist Talk by Ruth McDermott will take place on 22 August at 18:00 in Deiglan.
Ruth McDermott will talk about how landscape and environment have influenced both her collaborative and solo work as a light artist.
As well as her previous work she will present material from her 2024 solo exhibition “Lost Terrains” where she explored the textures and forms of the Icelandic landscape based on a 2023 residency in Isafjordur. There will be a small display of paintings, created here in Akureyri of the local landscape.
