Boreal Screendance Festival
In Deiglan Friday 11 – Thursday 17 of November.
Boreal is an international video dance festival that had its first edition in November 2020 in Mjólkurbúðin Gallery, Akureyri. Various screendance pieces were projected by a variety of artists from different countries, but mostly from Iceland and Mexico. Since then Boreal has branched out to other venues in the city, including the Akureyri Art Museum and our multifunctional space Deiglan .The project promotes collaboration between countries with the main objective to spread and share video dance in Iceland.
