FROM ANGELS TO ABSTRACTION – Hulda Ólafsdóttir

Hulda Ólafsdóttir welcomes you to view her new acrylic paintings at Deiglan in Akureyri from July 17th-19th. She started painting early this year and is now showing the results. The subject matter is diverse—from angels to abstracts, flowers, landscapes, faces, or whatever has fascinated her at any given moment.

Hulda studied at the Akureyri School of Fine Arts, studied fashion design in Italy, and later graphic design. In recent years, she has opened herself to new paths in her creative process and spirituality. She has studied coaching, healing, Reiki, and hypnosis, and runs the company Hjartalag. She also writes poetry and texts that she uses widely in her designs. She recently took a drama course at BÍL.

This exhibition is her first sales exhibition of acrylic works. Opening Friday 17th of July at 4 PM.
