Gil Artist Residency is available this September
Due to a cancellation the Gil Artist Residency apartment is available for 1. – 30. September 2018 for rent for a week at a time or a longer period. The price for a week is 25.000 ISK, the whole month for 80.000 ISK. Included in the price is the possibility to have an exhibition/event in Deiglan gallery at the end of the month.
Gil Artist Residency is an Artist in Residence Program located in Akureyri, North Iceland. We are located in the town center, in the Art Street where the Art Museum and several galleries, artist studios, restaurants and bars are located. At the end of the street is the shore of Eyjafjörður, a beautiful mountain view of the fjord. Akureyri is a small town with an easy access to open nature.
We can accommodate one or two artists, in a private apartment with a studio, fully equipped kitchen & bathroom and a gallery for final events & exhibitions. Our exhibition space Deiglan is next door and has an internal access from the studio.

Vegna forfalla er gestavinnustofa Gilfélagsins er laus til útleigu í september, um er að ræða 1. – 30. september 2018. Möguleiki á vikuleigu eða lengur verð fyrir vikuna er 25.000 kr, allur mánuðurinn á 80.000 kr.
Gestavinnustofan er fullbúin íbúð með vinnustofu sem hentar einum listamanni eða pari. Innangengt er í viðburðarrýmið okkar Deigluna þar sem er í boði að halda sýningu eða annarskonar viðburð í lok dvalar eða eftir samkomulagi. Íbúðin er staðsett í Kaupvangsstræti, eða Listagilinu í miðbæ Akureyrar þar sem er stutt að sækja alla helstu þjónustu svo ekki sé minnst á fjölbreytt menningarlíf.
