Opening hours below &#8211; all are welcome!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the Concept<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Wonderland&#8221; is Anastasiia Kramarenko\u2019s second solo photo exhibition in Akureyri, presented as an interactive viewer experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bShifting her focus from human psychology to the surrounding environment, the artist explores the boundaries of visual perception. Familiar streets, everyday objects, and routine surroundings are transformed into a surreal, looking-glass world. It is an invitation to see the world around us through artistic perception, where the ordinary becomes mysterious and otherworldly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u200bFrom &#8220;Forget-Me-Not&#8221; to &#8220;Wonderland&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anastasiia\u2019s first exhibition, held in April, was centered on human connection. The &#8220;Forget-Me-Not&#8221; project\u2014developed over three years following her relocation from Ukraine to Akureyri in 2022\u2014began as a series of portrait photoshoots for Ukrainian women and girls. It was created as a therapeutic space to help navigate personal grief and find inner strength and light. Over time, the project expanded, allowing the artist to capture inspiring individuals from many different countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bIn &#8220;Wonderland,&#8221; a new transformation takes place: moving from the exploration of human emotion to a visual dialogue with space and life itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u200bInteractive Format<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exhibition invites visitors to become active participants rather than passive observers.
