The exhibition will be open both Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 PM &#8211; 5:00 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;This is just clay.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I often say this phrase to my students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nothing bad happens even if the result is not what we intended. Sometimes the most interesting works are created when we let go, let the material lead us, and embrace the unexpected results with open arms. That thought has accompanied me in my work with clay and in preparation for this exhibition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Memory of Clay \u2013 is the result of many months of experiments with clay, glazes, and other materials \u2013 materials that I collect, mix, and research. Each work is a conversation between idea, material, and fire. Some turned out exactly as I envisioned them.
