The work explores themes of connection, temporality, curiosity, and light, interwoven through intimate vignettes of life in cities, portraits of dogs, and magnifying sheets. Drawing from his sensibility and the impression of North Iceland, Dylan has experimented with new materials and presentation techniques, offering quiet reflections and sparking conversations about finding intimacy in the everyday and the inanimate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dylan received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography at Parsons School of Design in 2023. His project “Warm Vicinity” was awarded a shortlist for the Landskrona Foto Residency in collaboration with PhMuseum’s 2023 Photography Grant. He is the current resident at the Gil Artist Residency in Akureyri, Iceland for December 2024. Dylan has shown photographs in group exhibitions at Salmagundi Art Club & Parsons School of Design, both in New York City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Gilf\u00e9lagi\u00f0’s December guest resident Dylan Anderson will open his exhibition on Friday, December 27th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
