Joris hefur veri\u00f0 starfandi myndlistarma\u00f0ur \u00e1 Akureyri s\u00ed\u00f0an 1991.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hann hefur haldi\u00f0 fj\u00f6lmargar einkas\u00fdningar \u00e1 \u00cdslandi, Sv\u00ed\u00fej\u00f3\u00f0, \u00ed Hollandi og \u00ed \u00de\u00fdskalandi. Einnig hefur hann teki\u00f0 \u00fe\u00e1tt \u00ed fj\u00f6lda sams\u00fdninga, s.s. \u00ed Listasafninu \u00e1 Akureyri og Listasafni Reykjav\u00edkur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn my art creations I research and play with natures foundation. To create and listen to my intuition is my way of living and to better understand the environment and life itself. The works are often symbolic and both interpret and express emotions, contact and mans relationship with nature in a personal way. Iceland\u00b4s untouched nature is a constant source of inspiration to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Joris Rademaker (born 1958) studied art in Tilburg in the Netherlands 1977-83 and at AKI, Akademie voor Beeldende Kunst en&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Industrie, in Enschede 1983-86. He has held several solo exhibitions in Iceland, Sweden, the Netherlands and Germany. He has also participated in numerous group exhibitions such as at<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reykjavik Art Museum and Akureyri Art Museum.
