Boreal is an international video dance festival that had its first edition in November 2020 in Mj\u00f3lkurb\u00fa\u00f0in Gallery, Akureyri. Various screendance\u00a0pieces were projected by a variety of artists from different countries, but mostly from Iceland and Mexico. Since then Boreal has branched out to other venues in the city, including the Akureyri Art Museum and our multifunctional space Deiglan .The project promotes collaboration between countries with the main objective to spread and share video dance in Iceland.
