Our October Artist in Residence is\u00a0Emmi Jormalainen, illustrator and artist from Helsinki, Finland.<\/p>\n

\u201cI draw books where the stories are told entirely with images and methods of visual storytelling. The books are often called silent books since they don\u2019t have text. The subjects vary between nature, architecture, flora and fauna. Many of my books are inspired by Iceland and partly done in Northern Iceland. This October I\u2019m working to finish my silent book \u201cLost\u201d which tells a\u00a0story about a lonely unicorn.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
